CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT

AL1* AND AL2* rated countries
1. Complete application form (include all supporting documentation – education certificates, etc)
2. Letter of offer sent by the Institute.
3. Student forwards fees and Acceptance Form to Nova.
4. Nova issues Confirmation of Enrolment (e-COE)
5. Student commences visa process

AL3* AND AL4* rated countries
1. Complete application form (include all supporting documentation – education certificates, etc)
2. Letter of offer sent by the Institute.
3. Student commences Pre-Visa Assessment (PVA)
4. Successful completion of PVA.
5. Student forwards fees and Acceptance Form to Nova.
6. Nova issues Confirmation of Enrolment (e-COE)
7. Student commences visa process

NOVA’S REFUND POLICY
Nova Institute of Technology reserves the right to cancel or postpone any courses prior to their scheduled commencement dates, should it be necessary. In such circumstances, if the course is postponed by more than four weeks, and if a student is unable to enroll in a similar course at NIT, all fees will be refunded. Refund of the fees will only be granted in accordance with the refund policy. For further information about refunds please read Nova’s refund policy.

YOUNGER STUDENTS
Nova Institute of Technology doesn’t accept under 18 students. Please do not apply as we only accept students who are over 18 years of age.

VISA REQUIREMENTS
It is the responsibility of the student to be aware of the conditions of their visa and visa subclasses and abide by those conditions.

OVERSEAS STUDENT HEALTH COVER (OSHC)
The Australian Government requires students on a Student Visa to have Overseas Student Health Cover, even if they already have private medical insurance.  The premium should be paid to the College before the course start date.  OSHC cards are issued by the Australian Government.  For more details please visit

PROTECTION OF FEES
As a member of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET), Nova Institute of Technology adheres to the Tuition Assurance Scheme (TAS) operated by ACPET for overseas students.  This assurance scheme ensures that if any Australian institute is unable to offer a course for any reason, the student will be offered enrolment in another institute operated by an ACPET member.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Students must abide by institute rules at all times.  This includes conduct during time spent on college premises, in class and in accommodation arranged by Nova Institute of Technology. We reserve the right to discipline or expel students whose conduct is unsatisfactory. No refund of tuition fees will be made in the case of expulsion from the institute.
